Visualisation is a powerful tool that can help you manifest your desires using the law of attraction. The law of attraction is the principle that “like attracts like”, meaning that whatever you focus on with your thoughts and emotions will be drawn to you. By visualising your goals as if they are already achieved, you can align your vibration with the frequency of your desired reality and attract it to you.
In this article, we will explore some effective visualisation techniques that you can use to apply the law of attraction and create the life you want.
What is Visualisation?
Visualisation is the process of creating mental images of something that you want to experience or achieve. It can be done in various ways, such as:
- Remembering a past event that made you feel good
- Imagining a future scenario that excites you
- Creating a vision board or a collage of images that represent your goals
- Writing down or speaking out loud your affirmations or intentions
- Listening to guided meditations or hypnosis recordings that help you visualise
Visualisation works by activating your subconscious mind, which is the part of your mind that controls your beliefs, habits, emotions and actions. Your subconscious mind does not distinguish between reality and imagination, so whatever you visualise, it accepts as true and acts accordingly. By visualising positive outcomes, you can reprogram your subconscious mind to believe that they are possible and inevitable, and thus attract them to you.
How to Visualise Using the Law of Attraction
To visualise effectively using the law of attraction, you need to follow some basic steps:
- Choose a clear and specific goal. The more precise and detailed you are about what you want, the easier it will be for you to visualise it and attract it. For example, instead of saying “I want more money”, say “I want to earn $10,000 per month from my online business”.
- Relax your mind and body. To enter a state of visualisation, you need to calm your conscious mind and access your subconscious mind. You can do this by breathing deeply, meditating, listening to relaxing music or doing any other activity that helps you relax.
- Visualise your goal as if it is already achieved. Use all your senses to imagine yourself living your desired reality. See yourself in the situation, hear the sounds, feel the emotions, smell the aromas and taste the flavours. Make it as vivid and realistic as possible. For example, if you want to travel to Paris, see yourself walking on the streets, hear the French language, feel the excitement, smell the croissants and taste the wine.
- Add positive emotions. The most important element of visualisation is emotion. Emotion is the energy that fuels your attraction power. The more positive emotions you feel while visualising, the more powerful your vibration will be and the faster you will manifest your goal. Feel gratitude, joy, love, peace, confidence and any other emotion that resonates with your goal.
- Repeat your visualisation regularly. To reinforce your subconscious programming and maintain your alignment with your goal, you need to visualise it consistently. Ideally, you should visualise at least once a day, preferably in the morning or before going to bed. You can also visualise whenever you have some free time or when you need a boost of motivation.
- Take inspired action. Visualisation alone is not enough to manifest your goal. You also need to take action towards it. However, not any action will do. You need to take inspired action, which is action that comes from your intuition and guidance from the universe. Inspired action feels easy, fun and natural. It does not require force, struggle or sacrifice. To receive inspired action ideas, you need to listen to your inner voice and follow your impulses.
Examples of Visualisation Techniques
There are many visualisation techniques that you can use to apply the law of attraction and manifest your goals. Here are some examples:
- Remember The Time Visualization Technique1. This technique involves recalling a past event that made you feel good and using it as a reference point for your future goal. For example, if you want to feel relaxed, you might remember a time when you were relaxed on vacation and use that feeling as a guide for how you want to feel in your daily life.
- Enter The Picture Visualization Exercise1. This technique involves finding a picture that represents your goal and imagining yourself entering into it. For example, if you want to travel to Hawaii
